Partagas: Cortado Corona Cigars

Product Number: 007-414-0059

A heritage brand now with separate Cuban and non-Cuban divisions, Partagas is among the oldest cigar brands still around today, having been founded in 1845 by Don Jaime Partagás. The non-Cuban Partagas has delighted connoisseurs for decades and become known especially for its dark, rich cigars — a reputation that makes the Cortado a welcome standout. Not only is it the first Partagas cigar to be rolled in Nicaragua, but the Cortado is the first to feature a Connecticut-seed wrapper. A five-country blend, the Partagas Cortado features an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, an Indonesian binder, and a filler blend of Mexican San Andrés leaf, Honduran tobacco from Jamastra, and Nicaraguan tobacco from Condega and Jalapa. Such a diverse range of components combine for a flavor profile full of creamy sweetness, slight earth, and subtle spice.
