ADVentura: The Royal Return: The Chancellor Cigars

ADVentura Cigars is a collaborative project between Henderson Ventura, the co-master blender at Tabacalera William Henderson in the Dominican Republic, and Marcel Knobel, a Swiss cigar retailer, lounge owner, and sommelier, with help from Robert Caldwell of Caldwell Cigars. ADVentura's portfolio is centered around the theme of exploration, though more specifically seafaring exploration, with blends, bands, and designs based on famed navigators, pirate legends, and all manner of nautical escapades. ADVentura's blends are complex and refined, and each comes boxed in unique, stylized packaging that stays true to the brand's joyful sense of adventure.

ADVentura's Royal Return series is the fourth chapter in their ongoing saga of adventure, and it was initially defined by two distinct, yet similar, blends: the King's Gold and the Queen's Pearls. In 2024, ADVentura expanded the line with The Chancellor, a special release that Adrian Acosta, one of ADVentura's chief brokers, helped to blend. Acosta's experience in tobacco extends to his lineage, and some of the tobacco used to make The Chancellor actually came from work his father did as an expert in tobacco seed germination. Boasting a Corojo wrapper of Undisclosed origin over binder and filler tobacco from the Dominican Republic, The Chancellor is a medium-bodied smoke with ample complexity, presented in a single 6 x 52 Toro vitola across a limited edition of 20,000 smokes.
