Aganorsa Leaf: Guardian Of The Farm Campeon Cigars

Product Number: 007-848-0008

Aganorsa tobacco is known throughout the industry for its quality and similarity to the iconic Cuban flavor and aroma. Based in Nicaragua, Aganorsa Leaf is a project by Eduardo Fernández and his son, Max, that started in 1998 when Eduardo traveled to Cuba and assembled a team of former Cubatabaco agronomists with the goal of replicating the profile of Cuban cigars, creating the specific leaf now known as Aganorsa tobacco.

For the Guardian of the Farm line, Max Fernández partners with Kyle Gellis of Warped Cigars to pay tribute to the bulldogs that guard the Aganorsa tobacco farms. These Nicaraguan puros feature a wrapper and binder of Corojo '99 from Jalapa and a blend of Criollo '98 and Corojo '99 comprising the long-fillers. The flavor profile boasts notes of oats, vanilla, coffee, and pepper, and to further the watchdog homage, each vitola is named for one of the Aganorsa guard dogs, with Campeon presented here.
