Aganorsa Leaf: JFR Maduro Super Toro Cigars

Product Number: 007-848-0037

Aganorsa tobacco is known throughout the industry for its quality and similarity to the iconic Cuban flavor and aroma. Based in Nicaragua, Aganorsa Leaf is a project by Eduardo Fernández and his son, Max, that started in 1998 when Eduardo traveled to Cuba and assembled a team of former Cubatabaco agronomists with the goal of replicating the profile of Cuban cigars, creating the specific leaf now known as Aganorsa tobacco.

When it comes to value, few brands can boast a better ratio between price and quality of flavor and construction than Aganorsa Leaf. Even still, though, the Nicaraguan brand recognizes that for those who enjoy multiple cigars on a daily basis, things add up quickly. The JFR line is Aganorsa's response: quality cigars offered at a fraction of the price, with the Maduro version presented here — a Nicaraguan puro wrapped in Aganorsa's signature Corojo leaf that's undergone a special fermentation process as a Maduro.

Solid Puro for the price.

Product: Aganorsa Leaf JFR Maduro Super Toro
This is a quality cigar, especially for the price. The construction is firm but not restrictive on the pull. The wrapper is rough and not particularly oily. The closed foot makes it easy to light evenly. About an hour and 15 minutes on the burn. Definitely will buy again.
Lot cheaper than a Cuban

Product: Aganorsa Leaf JFR Maduro Super Toro
This is a well made cigar, it remind me of the Partagas Serie D #4(Cuban), with the earthy, very slightly nutty taste & a hint of pepper. I had to touch up the wrapper a couple times with the jet lighter as it not burn even with the filler other wise not a bad smoke.
