The distinct flavor of VSG comes from its wrapper grown on a private estate in Ecuador owned by the Oliva family where this proprietary wrapper leaf is grown for the Fuente Family exclusively for Ashton VSG. The leaf is taken from the higher primings and matures slowly by sunlight filtered through the region's natural cloud covering. Earthy woodsy start. Full billowy smoke with an excellent draw. Took the ash all the way to the label before it fell off. I really enjoyed this stick.

Out of all the Ashton lines of cigars the VSG is my favorite. Its a solid full body cigar. With a strong spice kick at the beginning, and a lasting pallet of flavors to the end.
