Camacho: Nicaraguan Barrel Aged Robusto Tubo Cigars

Product Number: 007-013-0144

As its name implies, Camacho's Barrel Aged series features tobaccos aged in barrels that once held various spirits. The line was inaugurated by the American Barrel Aged cigar, aging tobaccos in Kentucky bourbon barrels, and it's expanded by the second edition: the Nicaraguan Barrel Aged. Instead of in bourbon barrels, the Nicaraguan fillers for this cigar were aged for five months in barrels that previously held Flor de Caña, a Nicaraguan rum. Camacho worked closely with Flor de Caña to source these barrels, hand-selecting them based on humidity and quality construction, and some of the barrels had held rum for up to 25 years. As a cigar, the Camacho Nicaraguan Barrel Aged cigar complements these barrel-aged Nicaraguan Corojo fillers with Dominican Piloto Cubano and Honduran Corojo fillers, as well as a Mexican San Andrés binder and Ecuadorian Habano 2000 wrapper, combining for a distinctive flavor profile elevated by rum essences.
