Crowned Heads: Azul y Oro Cigars

Product Number: 007-825-0118

Early in Crowned Heads' history, co-founders Jon Huber and Mike Conder traveled to Nicaragua and visited Gustavo Cura, who was affiliated with Oliva Tobacco Company and who now manages the NACSA factory in Estelí alongside master blender Raul Disla. During the visit Huber and Conder gifted Cura a bottle of his favorite blue-labeled whiskey. To this day, that bottle remains unopened in honor of the mens' friendship, and the Azul y Oro cigar — translating to Blue and Gold — pays tribute to this relationship and that special bottle. It's the first collaboration between Crowned Heads and NACSA, featuring an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper; a binder from Jalapa, Nicaragua; and a filler blend of Dominican tobaccos and leaf from three different Nicaraguan growing regions. A limited-edition cigar, the Azul y Oro is a single 6" x 50 Toro size.
