Crowned Heads: Mil Dias Belicosos Finos LE 2023 Cigars

Meaning "1,000 Days" in Spanish, Crowned Heads' Mil Días cigar is the result of roughly 1,000 days of planning and preparation between its inception in 2017 and 2020 release. The genesis of Mil Días resulted from a meeting between Don Eradio Pichardo, master blender of Tabacalera Pichardo; Luciano Meirelles, a blender, sommelier, and global entrepreneur; and Jon Huber, co-founder of Crowned Heads. The trio desired a premium cigar that merged both modern and traditional aspects of cigar making, and they were dedicated to taking as much time as was needed to patiently perfect such a blend before sharing it with the world.

To celebrate 2023, Crowned Heads presents their prestigious Mil Días blend in a seldom-seen, limited-edition vitola, a 5 1/2" x 52 Belicoso Fino. Previously, Crowned Heads only utilized the vitola in their Le Carême line and as a sampler-pack exclusive, but found that the Belicoso Fino accentuated the smoking experience of the Mil Días, bringing out the cream, wood, and subtle floral flavors in the blend. Furthermore, the Mil Días Belicosos Finos LE 2023 features a Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and filler tobaccos from Costa Rica, Nicaragua, and Peru.
