Curivari: Achilles Gloriosos Cigars

Introduced at the 2013 IPCPR Trade Show, Curivari's Achilles is a Nicaraguan puro — like the brand's other lines — and features chic, minimalist banding that calls to mind old-school Cuban cigars, a consistent theme throughout founder Andreas Throuvalas' portfolio. Unlike Curivari's other lines, though, the Achilles was blended to be their strongest, most full-bodied cigar, fittingly named after Greece's greatest warrior from Homer's the Iliad. Presented here in the Gloriosos vitola, the Achilles offers a bold flavor profile of caramel sweetness, earthy cedar, and spicy pepper.
