Drew Estate: Kentucky Fire Cured Fat Molly Cigars

Product Number: 007-084-0032

Drew Estate's Kentucky Fire Cured cigars showcase tobacco that, instead of being air-cured like most cigars, is cured over a fire — changing the flavor profile and adding smoke to the tobacco's drying process. As such, these Kentucky Fire Cured cigars present intriguing notes of roasted wood and smokiness akin to peaty scotch whiskey. Also available in the Candela-wrapped Swamp and flavored tip Sweets versions.

For the most part this cigar is pretty classic in terms of flavors; leathery smoothness, some aromatic wood notes, and a little bit of pepper. What sets it apart is the rich smokiness that sits right on top of all the other flavors and mixes with them perfectly. It's a rich, campfire smokiness like you get with Latakia in pipe tobaccos, but when thrown in with more traditional cigar flavors it takes on a whole new dimension. If you like English-style pipe tobacco blends or want something that's a departure from the typical cigar flavor profile, this is the first thing I would recommend to people....Read More

Even burn, peaty & smoky scent. Goes well with Lagavulin single malt which is from Islay and exhibits the same peaty notes. The stick gets even better in the last third. I am ordering more now. AB
