Drew Estate: MUWAT Baitfish
Product Number: 007-084-0133
MUWAT cigars are a collaboration between Drew Estate's avant-garde Subculture line and Joya de Nicaragua, created by Jonathan Drew and, then, crafted at the JDN factory. The name is an acronym for My Uzi Weighs A Ton (just like the Public Enemy song, of course), and originates from Drew — who, upon picking up a 50-cigar bundle of size 6" x 60, joked, "Damn my Uzi weighs a ton!" The phrase stuck, and the MUWAT moniker was born.
As a cigar, the MUWAT features Brazilian Mata Fina fillers, encased by a Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade binder and Mexican San Andrés wrapper. The flavor profile is rich and bold, marked by notes of earthy leather and subtle sweetness.
