Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust: Mi Querida Triqui Traca No. 648
Product Number: 007-856-0013
Dunbarton founder Steve Saka, former president and CEO of Drew Estate, presents Dunbarton's Mi Querida — literally meaning "my dearest" in Spanish. As a cigar, the original Mi Querida fulfills all of Saka's personal desires for a Maduro, comprised of Nicaraguan fillers and binder encased by a 100% naturally fermented Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. Here in the Triqui Traca version, Saka tweaks the original blend slightly to create one of Dunbarton's boldest cigars.
Triqui Traca is local Nicaraguan slang, referring to oversized firecrackers connected to one fuse on a singular string. Often lit during celebratory festivals and holidays, Triqui Traca can sometimes stretch several street blocks, sounding in loud, percussive succession. It's the perfect moniker for such a bold cigar, trading the original Mi Querida's Connecticut Broadleaf Medium wrapper for a rarer Connecticut Broadleaf No. 1 Dark leaf. Further refinements add ligero from the Dominican Republic to the Nicaraguan fillers, retaining the cigar's sweet and chocolatey flavors but increasing the intensity to extra full-bodied.
