Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust: Mi Querida Black SakaKhan Cigars
Product Number: 007-856-0046
Literally translating to "my dearest" and colloquially meaning "my mistress" in Spanish, the Mi Querida cigar fulfills Dunbarton founder Steve Saka's personal desires for a Maduro, with the original Mi Querida blend comprising Nicaraguan fillers and binder within a 100% naturally fermented Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. This Mi Querida Black version, however, was first released in 2021 as an exclusive cigar celebrating retailer JR Cigars' 50th anniversary, and it features a Connecticut Broadleaf No.1 Dark wrapper, with a Mexican San Andrés binder and fillers from Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. It's a limited-production blend, hand-rolled at the NACSA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, and this special SakaKhan vitola is a reference to Steve's nickname during his days in the U.S. Navy.
