Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust: Mi Querida Black PapaSaka Cigars

Product Number: 007-856-0048

Literally translating to "my dearest" and colloquially meaning "my mistress" in Spanish, the Mi Querida cigar fulfills Dunbarton founder Steve Saka's personal desires for a Maduro, with the original Mi Querida blend comprising Nicaraguan fillers and binder within a 100% naturally fermented Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper. This Mi Querida Black version, however, was first released in 2021 as an exclusive cigar celebrating retailer JR Cigars' 50th anniversary, and it features a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, Mexican San Andrés binder, and fillers from Honduras, Nicaragua, and the Dominican Republic. A complex blend, the Black cigar is hand-rolled at the NACSA factory in Estelí, Nicaragua, and it's offered here in 5 5/8 x 48 "PapaSaka" size.

The creaminess is added later, accompanied by a bean aroma, and the finish begins to become sweet and has a distinct spice flavor. The cigar changed, and let me smoke until the end, very hot, before putting down. The aftertaste is great. I've had it for almost a year. It's very old value....Read More
