Dunhill: 1907 Churchill

Product Number: 007-542-0014

Dunhill is a pretty conservative brand. In the realm of pipes, two of their earliest finishes, the smooth Bruyere and sandblasted Shell Briar, are still mainstays to this day. And when it comes to cigars, it's now been more than ten years since they last came upon a new blend considered worthy of putting their founder's family name on.

That brings us to the 1907, named after the year Alfred Dunhill opened his first tobacco shop on Duke Street, London: a proprietary combination of Dominican Ligeros and Brazilian Mata Fina, bound by Dominican Olor, and wrapped in Honduran Olancho. Medium in body, full-flavored, it promises a balance of earthiness, subtle sweetness, slight pepper, leather, and the "woodsiness" of Olancho.
