Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. continues the Carrillo family's Cuban cigar-making legacy, following in the footsteps of his father, who established a Cuban cigar factory in 1948 before later moving to Miami. Handmade in the Dominican Republic at the Carrillos' factory and utilizing Nicaraguan fillers and an Ecuadorian binder, the E.P. Carrillo Dusk epitomizes Maduro cigars. It showcases a Connecticut Broadleaf Maduro wrapper and pays homage to Ernesto Jr.'s favorite time of day, citing dusk as the ideal time to relax and unwind and noting that it's when his creativity is at its peak. As a cigar, the Dusk is a medium- to full-bodied smoke, offering smoky notes of earth and wood with a hint of complementary sweetness. It's the perfect cigar to end the day.
