E.P. Carrillo: Short Run Robusto 2023 Cigars

Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. continues the Carrillo family's Cuban cigar-making legacy, following in the footsteps of his father, who established a Cuban cigar factory in 1948 before later moving to Miami. E.P. Carrillo first released the Short Run series in 2010, and since 2021 the limited-edition line has seen an annual release. Short Run 2023 returns with a twist: Instead of being made at E.P. Carrillo's Tabacalera La Alianza S.A., it is handcrafted at Oscar Valladares' Tobacco & Co. in Honduras. Furthermore, Short Run 2023 is comprised of an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and fillers from Honduras and Nicaragua, resulting in a complex, medium-bodied flavor profile.
