Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. continues the Carrillo family's Cuban cigar-making legacy, following in the footsteps of his father, who established a Cuban cigar factory in 1948 before later moving to Miami. Released in 2024, the E.P. Carillo Honduras is the third blend within the brand's Essence series, and it boasts a Honduran Olancho San Agustín wrapper that's been fermented for two years. This special wrapper covers a Honduran binder and fillers from both Honduras and Nicaragua, and each cigar is rolled at the Plasencia family's Tabacos de Oriente factory in Honduras. Available here as a 6" x 60 Gordo, E.P. Carillo's Honduras is a sophisticated, medium-bodied cigar full of complex flavor.
