Foundation Cigar Company: Olmec Claro Toro Cigars
Product Number: 007-847-0046
The Olmecs were an ancient Mesoamerican people, dating as far back as sometime between 1600 and 1500 BCE. Among the earliest known civilizations in the Americas, the Olmec people inhabited the modern-day Mexican states of Veracruz and Tabasco, including Veracruz's San Andrés Valley — known today for its distinctive tobacco. Fittingly, Foundation's Olmec cigar showcases this specific Mexican varietal in two versions: Claro and Maduro. Both versions feature Nicaraguan binder and fillers hand-rolled by AJ Fernandez in Nicaragua, and the cigar bands depict the Olmecs' iconic colossal head sculptures.
