Herrera Esteli: Miami Short Corona Gorda Cigars

Product Number: 007-838-0008

Herrera Estelí's Miami cigars originally debuted in 2016 as a limited edition vitola, but have since become a regular production line expanded to several sizes. It's also a cigar that's tied closely to Willy Herrera, Drew Estate's master blender, and his family on a personal level — While Drew Estate rolls other Herrera Estelí lines at their massive factory in Nicaragua, the Miami is made in the much smaller El Titan de Bronze factory in Miami, owned by Willy's mother-in-law and where he used to work. As such, Herrera was able to spend significant time in El Titan de Bronze supervising Miami cigars at every step of their blending and rolling process, ensuring the highest standards of quality and construction as they're rolled by only level 9 torcedores.

Starting with an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, Herrera Estelí Miami cigars feature fillers from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua and a Ecuadorian Sumatra binder. Such a blend delivers strong notes of spice and natural tobacco flavor for a medium- to full-bodied smoke with hints of underlying sweetness.

Burned hot and uneven
February 05, 2020
Product: Herrera Esteli Miami Short Corona Gorda
The H.E. miami burned hot and uneven giving a harsh acrid smoke. Required a lot of torch tending and had a tight draw. If you want to try the blend I'd recommend a different size since I haven't tried em all.
