Named in honor of one of the oldest neighborhoods in Havana, the Cerro cigar from HVC pays tribute to founder Reinier Lorenzo's Cuban roots. As a cigar, HVC's Cerro Natural is a Nicaraguan puro that highlights a Corojo '99 wrapper for a medium- to full-bodied smoke. The Cerro is also available in a Maduro version, which trades the Corojo wrapper for one of Mexican San Andrés leaf.

A touch stronger than the Pan Caliente for me but certainly in that same traditional Cuban style with excellent complexity and construction. Sharp and attractive bands make it a personal fav to smoke in public for me. I find a delightful sort of maple syrup-esque sweetness in HVC cigars and this expression carries that as well.
