Joya de Nicaragua: Antano 1970 Machito Cigars

Product Number: 007-016-0022

In Spanish, antaño means "yesteryear," and as a cigar, the Antaño honors Joya de Nicaragua's illustrious history, having become among the most iconic and popular cigar brands since founder Simón Camacho and Juan Francisco Bermejo fled their native Cuba in 1968 for the fertile tobacco fields of Nicaragua. The Antaño 1970 honors the archetypal essence of authentic Nicaraguan puros, hearkening to the 1970s when aficionados first began relying on Joya for quality cigars after the Cuban embargo. It showcases a Criollo wrapper and boasts a robust flavor profile and full-bodied smoking experience, marked by rich spice and captivating depth.

Tight Draw
August 30, 2021
Product: Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 Machito
The construction was tight on the last two thirds of the cigar making for a harder draw. During the smoke the first third was pretty monotonous but it woke up after that with some nice flavors. Solid medium smoke. May try again
great stick

Nice cold draw. smells of good tobacco, Great draw, plenty of smoke output, good construction, smoked to to the very end, this stick didn't heat up. I added this one to my favorites.
Good for the price!

Product: Joya de Nicaragua Antano 1970 Machito
The first 1/3 is sour and messy. But after that it turns out to be a decent cigar - rich in flavor, smooth and medium body. Smoking time is about one hour.
Awesome stick at a great price!
