Limited Cigar Association: Asylum Straight Jacket Revival (by CLE) Cigars

Introduced by Privada Cigar Club in 2020, the Limited Cigar Association offers one of the most unique opportunities in the cigar industry: Instead of fashioning cigars themselves, Privada partners with some of the most respected brands and personalities in the industry to create limited-production cigars released exclusively through LCA to its retail partners. These special cigars are available only through LCA, and they release a new one every month, ensuring that connoisseurs can always anticipate something fresh and exciting.

Asylum's Straight Jacket cigar was released in 2013, and it quickly garnered acclaim for its robust, complex, flavor profile, though it was discontinued in 2022. Christian Eiroa and Tom Lazuka have resurrected the Straight Jacket for LCA in August of 2024 through Eiroa's C.L.E brand, and this rerelease is particularly unique for its use of original Eiroa Cuban seed Corojo: which was taken to Honduras from Cuba before a widespread blue mold outbreak forced Cuba to hybridize their seeds. A Honduran puro, the Straight Jacket is available in limited quantities as a single 6.00" x 52 Toro vitola.
