Meirelles and Pichardo partnered in 2009, prioritizing a vertically integrated approach that includes tobacco farms in Nicaragua and Ecuador and the renowned reputation of the Tabacalera Pichardo.
The Fiat Lux cigar is named for the Latin phrase, "Let there be light," alluding to the book of Genesis in the Old Testament and, according to Luciano, representing The Enlightenment movement's quest for truth and knowledge. Its vitolas are named accordingly, with the 6" x 56 Acumen offered here, featuring a high-priming Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper with binder and filler tobacco from Nicaragua.
