Luciano: Maria Lucia Robusto Cigars

Luciano cigars merge the blending and business prowess of Luciano Meirelles with the quality construction and production standards of Eradio Pichardo's factory in Nicaragua, representing the benefit of collaboration and testifying to Meirelles' partnership-focused mindset. Meirelles and Pichardo partnered in 2009, prioritizing a vertically integrated approach that includes tobacco farms in Nicaragua and Ecuador and the renowned reputation of the Tabacalera Pichardo.

Released in 2022, the Maria Lucia cigar was named in honor of Meirelles' mother who passed away when he was only 12. He wanted to craft a cigar that embodied her kind yet bold personality. As such, the Maria Lucia cigar is a complex, intricate blend marked by bold flavors with refined nuance, and it comprises a Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, double binders of Ecuadorian Sumatra and Ecuadorian Havana '92 leaf, and fillers from Nicaragua, Peru, and the Dominican Republic. Moreover, the box and band art was drawn by Meirelles' oldest daughter, depicting a portrait of what she imagines her grandmother to have looked like despite never having been able to meet her nor seeing a photograph of her.
