Micallef: Reserva Churchill Cigars
Product Number: 007-910-0003
Combining Al Micallef's business acumen with Joel Gómez-Sanchez's cigar-making prowess, Micallef cigars represent a dynastic marriage between two inspiring families and the continuation of a legacy nearly a hundred years old. The Gómez-Sanchez family has deep roots in the cigar industry, beginning in 1934, when Pedro Gómez, Joel's grandfather, established a tobacco business in Cuba. Pedro's daughter-in-law Migdalia Sanchez, Joel's mother, would later become one of the most celebrated cigar rollers in all of Cubra, exhibiting her skills in countries around the world. The Gómez-Sanchez family now oversees the production, blending, and hand-rolling of all Micallef cigars in Estelí, Nicaragua.
Originally made by the Gómez-Sanchez family for Al Micallef personally, the Reserva cigar features a San Andrés Habano wrapper, a Nicaraguan binder, and filler tobaccos from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Peru. A complex yet luxurious smoke, the Reserva cigar offers tasting notes of nuts, dried fruit, and earth.
