My Father: Flor de las Antillas 10th Anniversary Cigars

My Father's original Flor de las Antillas cigar was one met with universal praise, receiving rave reviews from critics and finding itself number one on Cigar Aficionado's Cigar of the Year list for 2012. The Flor de las Antillas has been in continuous production since its release, though this iteration is decidedly different. Outside of crafting consistently excellent regular release cigars, My Father is also known for its semi-yearly limited edition releases, one of which is presented here in celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Flor de las Antillas' line. While the original Flor de las Antillas was a Nicaraguan puro, the 10th Anniversary further limits the scope of its tobacco usage to leaf grown only by the Garcia family themselves, and the wrapper used here is of a higher priming than the original release, making the cigar a bit stronger and more full-bodied than its predecessor. Each cigar comes in an individual coffin and features special bands that denote its limited status — all packaged into a numbered box of 12, in reference to the year of the original's release. The total production of this line is only 5,000 boxes, numbering 60,000 cigars, making this a rare opportunity for enthusiasts of My Father cigars.
