Founded in 2010, Regius cigars originated out of a small group of cigar aficionados in London, partnering with Nestor Plasencia in Nicaragua to produce quality, hand-rolled cigars, utilizing traditional methods combined with the efficiency of modern technology and innovation.
Regius doesn't feature many Maduro-wrapped cigars in their portfolio, making their appropriately named Maduro line a particularly individual offering. It's a similar blend as that of Regius' flagship Black Label series, but is slightly tweaked to complement the Maduro wrapper. Furthermore, the wrapper tobacco is grown with the help of a special fertilizer, ensuring more nutrient rich leaves and a flavorful smoke.
