Romeo y Julieta: 1875 Vintage Lote Double Corona Cigars

Product Number: 007-005-0117

Founded in 1875 in Cuba, Romeo y Julieta boasts an illustrious history as one of the most respected and popular cigar manufacturers. The 1875 series commemorates that tradition and heritage — each cigar bearing old-school, Cuban-style bands. Released in 2024, the Vintage Lote, translated into English as "Vintage Lot," solely comprises cigars taken from a specific lot of Romeo y Julieta cigars: lot #3753. These cigars were made specifically to honor the legacy of the 1875 blend and to venerate the year as it pertains to the company's history, though it features an entirely different combination of tobaccos than the original 1875. Blended and crafted by Tabacalera De Garcia's esteemed Grupo de Maestros, the Vintage Lotes boasts a Nicaraguan Habano 2000 wrapper and a Broadleaf binder from the United States, with fillers of Dominican Piloto Seco and Pennsylvania Doble Ligero from the United States. A limited edition blend of 40,000 total cigars, every Vintage Lote is aged for six years in Tabacalera De Garcia's aging room, offering a rich and complex medium-bodied flavor profile in a singular 6.75 x 48 Double Corona vitola.

Fine cigar
June 22, 2024
Product: Romeo y Julieta 1875 Vintage Lote Double Corona
This is an exceptional cigar.
Take all the wonderful parts of the 1875 series and increase every aspect until you arrive at this cigar.
Flawless wrapper, perfect burn, what is not to like.
I won't hint that it might as well have came from the "C" place
But this is what I imagine when I
think of RyJ in the old days before we could not buy cigars from Cuba anymore.
Hefty flavor profile of nuts, a bit of leather, pepper and spice, molasses and a bit of coffee at the end.
Power levels are a tic over medium.
Highly recommend to all Enthusiasts and newcomers wanting to experience a true Fine Cigar.

Update.....
All cigars were delicious and well made..
