SOMM Cigars

A trained and certified sommelier, Vlada Stojanov is an expert in flavor and terroir, and considering the similarities between wine and tobacco, it's natural that his passion and expertise for wine would pair well with a deep understanding of and facility with cigars. Specifically, he's invested in the cigar community for years by cultivating lifelong relationships with other prominent figures in the industry as the U.S. distributor for numerous cigar brands.

In 2023, Stojanov established his own brand: SOMM, short for "sommelier." Fittingly, many of SOMM's series draw influence from aspects of the wine industry, and Stojanov is committed to providing not just cigars but experiences, his perspective rooted in cigars — like wine — being sensory journeys of exploring complex and nuanced flavors. SOMM accomplishes this vision through very selective and limited production, subscribing to the idea that all fine things should be crafted intimately and in small quantities to ensure the utmost quality.

With the motto "Selective By Choice," SOMM cigars are handcrafted in small-batch productions by some of the world's most respected factories, like Eladio Diaz's Tabacelera Diaz Cabrera in the Dominican Republic, Sebastien Decoppet of Cavalier Cigars' Fábrica Centroamericana de Tabaco S.A. in Honduras, and Hendrik Kelner Jr.'s Kelner Boutique Factory in the Dominican Republic. Spanning a variety of flavor profiles and utilizing a diverse mix of the finest quality tobacco, SOMM's portfolio caters to all tastes and will satisfy even the most discerning aficionado's preferences.
