H. Upmann: Herman's Batch Toro Cigars
Product Number: 007-001-0087
One of the oldest cigar companies still in existence, H. Upmann was founded in 1844 in Havana, Cuba, by German banker Hermann Upmann. Not only was he esteemed for producing quality cigars, but Upmann is also credited as the first to store cigars in cedar boxes. His reputation for quality and commitment to excellence lives on through H. Upmann cigars — the longevity of the brand testifying to its high standards of making satisfying cigars.
To honor the inventive founder, H. Upmann presents Herman's Batch, marked by an Ecuadorian Habano wrapper around a Dominican binder and fillers from Nicaragua and the Dominican Republic. Herman's Batch cigars, while inspired by the man himself, also seeks to recreate a modern version of the cigars that Upmann would have originally produced back in 1800s Cuba.
