The Maestro del Tiempo ("Master of Time") from Warped is a medium-bodied Nicaraguan puro several years in the making. Featuring a filler blend of Nicaraguan Corojo '99 and Criollo '98 leaf as well as a Nicaraguan Jalapa Corojo '99 wrapper, this cigar presents flavors of raisins, cashews, and creamy vanilla. Presented here is the special-edition "6102R" vitola: First released in 2016 exclusively to retailers who attended the IPCPR trade show, it's a 5.25" x 48 size that adds medio tiempo leaf to the Maestro del Tiempo's original filler blend. The 2020 release marks only the second edition of the exclusive "6102R," and while the official box count wasn't publicly announced, quantities are extremely limited.

This is a great cigar. It has a lot of very pleasant natural sweetness, probably from the medio tiempo. It has notes of jasmine tea that pop every now and then to complement cedar and sweetbread notes present throughout the smoke. It also has a very subtle note that to me walks a fine line between honey and molasses.
