The Artaois cigar is named in honor of an aspect of the Roman god Mercury that was revered in Gaul, with Artaois roughly translating to bear-god. Made for Wildfire in the Fábrica de Tabacos Joya de Nicaragua S.A. factory, the blend comprises a Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro wrapper atop an Indonesian binder and fillers from the Condega, Estelí, and Jalapa regions of Nicaragua.
