Michael Woodel

Mike hails from Erie, Pennsylvania, joining Laudisi after departing from the world of Journalism in favor of returning to a writing career. He brings years of experience in professional writing and copy editing. A University of South Carolina graduate, he studied Journalism. His favorite piece of advice is, simply put, “Don’t be an idiot,” which he claims changed his life. He carries his passion about the written word and its ability to inform into his role, keeping his passion alive also by reading widely and writing often.

As for who he most admires, he cites his dad because of his integrity. A few of Mike’s favorite things include the Erie Otters team, Neuromancer by William Gibson, A Serious Man, and rock music. He cannot live without books, and his favorite place to travel is back home, where his childhood friends still live.
