o medium and nic is mild. Flavoring is mild, with notes of spiced rum. Flavoring plays nicely with the tobacco, then it dissipates around the first 1/4. Taste is medium and fairly consistent, with notes of wood, leather, spiced dark fruit, dry earth, floral, hay, fermented sour, tangy citrus, mildly spicy, savory, sweet grass, lemon zest, mildly acidic, vinegary, a very bready background note, and a peppery retro. 'Taste of Summer' with no peach flavor but chocolate. Soon I ask for more tins from the vendor, who told me this blend is stopped forever. Everytime I saw how excited that Peterson reproduce 965 or other blends, I pray that Peterson or maby GLPease would take it back, or maybe Sutliff which has more similar recepie.
I ll like to buy 16oz of this at once it was available, but that is maybe the reason why we say time flys and it never comes back. Read Less

This is why God made Virginias. When I get to the pearly gates I expect St. Peter will be enjoying a bowl of Anniversary Cake in his Charatan Freehand. The smoke is thick, sweet, and rich as a chocolate malt.

This is a nice smoke but the bite is a bit stiff. I am going to try it again everyday for the next 3 days and if it doesn't change I will sit on it for 6 months and write again
