This is the first Kohlhase & Kopp tobacco I've tried. The tin alone is amazing and worth holding onto. Inside the tin the tobacco is sealed in a plastic bag. Opening the bag you get a very sweet almost berry, sugary tin note. The tobacco is ribbon cut and on the thicker side. I found this blend a little labor intensive to light possibly due to a little bit higher moisture content but nothing in the way of a deterrence to buy more. The room note is definitely one of champagne and fruit of some sort but I myself didn't detect rum and coconut. The blend itself is very slow burning and a heavy aromatic. With that said I found myself wishing I had smoked this in a smaller pipe and not a group 4, as about 3 quarters into the bowl and almost 2 hours later I had more than my fill.
