ste. The Black Cavendish is unadulterated and has a very natural tasting sweet/tangy profile. I suspect the burley is a white burley. It's grassy and less earthy; it's more of a graham cracker flavor with a touch of oak. The Virginia is perhaps a Virginia Cavendish as it lacks elements of hay, citrus or sweetness; it's more herbal and bready. The latakia is also a background player but not so elusive to act as a 'minor' component. Its usage rounds the profile to English, so it's definitely a contributor but certainly not dominant. Some, including me, consider this very well balanced while others may consider this too linear or flat.
It's soft, light in body, medium in flavor, and PH balanced, this produces absolutely no tongue bite... none whatsoever. Not a particularly flavorful English, but it's different from so many we've encountered. This reminds me of Sillem's Black without the fruit and honey topping. If your preference has become that nuanced and targeted, this may be what you're looking for. Read Less

This is an average example of an English mixture. Nothing extra special, but tasty. It did improve halfway down the bowl. It burns well and is somewhat satisfying. Worth the try, but not a regular in my routine.

must say that this surpasses those other blends in terms of taste. The "tin note" or "bag note" is alluring. It smells fantastic!
Luxus has a full body, and, perhaps, even a heavy taste, which I like. There is a harmony among the ingredients, without any one type dominating, but with each detectable in the character it adds. This a wonderful find! Read Less

Ok, so I've never smoked an English blend before this one, but still it begs the question: How can anyone smoke this stuff? Maybe it's just too strong for a newbie to English? Yeah, I definitely will not buy any more of this.

I didn't enjoy this smoke at all. It has a taste if what seemed like "recycled" and coated tobacco. It was not flu-cured sufficiently.. I actually became violently ill as a direct result. Maybe a batch of the same in future would be more promising.

Very user friendly, straight forward honest taste. I would consider this a basic English, surprised it's not more expensive. Burns even and slow stay's lit well and each draw has the same flavor.. worth the buck try some

English Luxus is a pleasure to smoke. Pack tight and it is a delight to smoke. Smokes cool and a lot of flavor. It does not get stronger as you smoke it.
