slight spiciness was probably the most noticeable note. It definitely did not have the same aromatic taste and room note that some of the other blends I smoke have. This would not be a blend I would smoke around my wife who is very picky about the room note...Read More

When i tried , I thought that someone by mistake gave me 6$ for 16 Oz tobacco from Indian reserve. Very dry and nothing distinctive in taste or aroma. Never again.

Just nice Virginia with a background sour spice. It arrived slightly dry but that's OK. A night in the humi with a moisture puck will straighten it out fine. It smokes nice and it's a perfect break from my other blends. Nothing special. Just good tobacco flavor.

I wish I could be more helpful about describing the flavor, but I just can't get past the RYO cut. My best stab is: Tear apart a Camel cigarette, and stuff the tobacco into your bowl.

another. Still, given my love of Orientals, as well as the very favorable reviews here, I went ahead and ordered 4oz of No. 84. The only good thing I can say about it is that it has a fairly pleasant room note. To me the tobacco tastes more like a cigarette than anything else, and it leaves a harsh and bitter after-taste. I can see this being an all day blend. The aroma is sweet, fragrant, and slightly sour. Not surprisingly, it does burn a little hot due to the cut and natural sugars in virginia and oriental tobacco, but this can be managed by sipping and savouring the rather delicate flavours.

The golden Virginia stands out. The oriental adds a subtile note. You are smoking a fine Virginia with the oriental a gentle background note. It is a great adjunct blend for Va and VaPer smokers.

to the smoke. Has a lovely room note. Delicately sweet, with a nice flavor.
Upon receiving it the appearance, texture and dryness made me concerned. I really expected it to burn hot and bite. It did neither. Smoked cool and bite-less all the way to a fine silver ash. A great all day smoke. I haven't played around with it yet, but I imagine it would be a wonderful blender. Something to lighten up a latakia blend that's too heady, or a VA that's too bland. This is something that I will order by the pound in the future. It's just that good.
