Achievement heavy Latakia) Orangey sweetness and some mild Virginia hay comes through prominently at start. Mild on Latakia - some say it is Syrian @TobaccoReviews.com, but SP says it is Cyperian, either way its good. Love the way the mild Latakia nuances with the Virginias. Nice body, full rounded/"butteriness" where a little spice comes through. Flavor remains to the end, though the oranginess fades into the background. Nice, smooth, enjoyable, and different.

English lovers rejoice! Here comes a full bodied smoke that has sweetness to it due to the virginias added. The java tobaccos add some spiciness to this awesome blend. I cannot complain for its price.

An english - balkan of a different stripe. The syrian still retains its underlying oriental quality, the java cigar leaf adds some power and body, virginia brings up the rear with a touch of sweetness. Great blend, if you can get it.

as braced for the worst.
Luckily, I was NOT disappointed. Planta uses first-rate tobaccos, expertly blended, with a rich sumptious quality. Burns very cool and even. However, you get the nuances of the smoke when you sip at a relaxed pace. The Syrian latakia is excellent, and the Java leaf is present just in the right amount, without overpowering. Definitely a keeper! Read Less
