Previously known as an A&C Peterson blend, No.150 Mark Twain now flies under the Sutliff banner. A Danish-style aromatic, this mix of black Cavendish, Burley, and Virginia is known for its creamy aromatic flavors and mellow strength, making for an easy smoke and a pleasing room note.
For the vaginae that can't handle full flavored aeros, this is neutral ground. Very pleasant smoke that has a hint of laziness in it. There’s a nice nose on this one, in the pouch, where it’s quite moist. But post-char light, you might enjoy the creamy amaretto room note just as much, but otherwise grow disappointed.

I might seem curmudgeonly on this one. I admit I am not a fan of aromatics, but every several months in my rotations I return to them to sample a few blends. And I had to buy a couple of ounces of this one, simply for its name. 3.5 stars. Read Less

I finded perfect for me. This aromatic tobacco is not sticky and its very fresh. Soft flavor and burns very well. Very interesting. I pretty sure that this tobacco will be part of mi cellar for long time!.
Love the aroma unlit. Burns to a fine dry powder. Not harsh or hit burning. Not as much flavor as aroma. Might be able to tone down a sweet blend with it? Want to smoke a few more bowls before I pass judgement.
It's pleasant and it's mild-- not as sweet as the pouch note suggests. The Mark Twain blend reminds me of a nougat/amaretto mixture I used to blend years and years ago and its main strengths are a very nice room note and not a lot of thought. This on... Read Moree will definitely be a repurchase.

As a huge Mark Twain fan, I was searching for a blend that was of Samuel Clemens taste when I ran across this tobacco. Needless to say I bought an ounce simply out of curiosity. Very well done mixture of sweet Virginia along with the heavy, thicker smoke producing of the Dark Cavendish. This blend even smells great right out of the jar. The taste is smooth but strangely bold. I had to have more so I bought a whole pound so that it would ferment in a larger jar. The Virginia grows sweeter with age, so the longer you can age this stuff the better it gets. Highly recommend this mixture for a late night relax on the porch. You will not be disappointed. I'll admit, I got it because I'm a Twain fan and because of the overall good reviews.
Its not a strong blend. It has a good mild taste and is an easy smoke.

Very mild danish- I should warn that it has a sidestream smell that may have some odd notes from time to time, though maybe that's just me. It's still, for me, a cut above many of the other comparable bulkblends- a true jewel in the sutliff cap.
