As good as these pipers report. Tin note is intoxicating, flavor is pleasing. Noticeably sweet but not over the top. Smoked back to back bowls with no burn rate issues. Try it.

Love this as much as the Molto Dolce. Not as sweet as MD. But same rich smoke, easy burn maintenance. Silky smooth across the tongue, no bite. A real pleasure sitting on the front porch in the Endless Mountains Pa. Aaaahhhh!

Tin note is enchanting. Tobacco is very moist, I've had it setting out uncovered for 48 hours thus far and hasn't seemed to want to dry any.

, the rum flavor takes front and center and remains there. Room note matches the tin note - very pleasing, almost delectable. Burns surprisingly cool for a blend that obviously has a lot of top dressing. No bite, with a nice clean aftertaste that lingers pleasantly. Silvery grey ash, burns right down to the bottom. Doesn't seem to over-heat, even when pushed a bit. Slower smoking definitely brings out more flavor though. True for most all blends - very true with this one. Not a lot of tobacco flavor coming through, but enough to keep my attention.
I'm not a big smoker of aromatics, but, I'll probably keep this one around for those times I want something sweet.
Thus far, every Sutliff I have tried has been pleasing, some extremely pleasing. This one falls into the extremely pleasing, for an aromatic category. For the price and quality, it's a 5 star aromatic. Read Less

ous stuff. Great vanilla and enticing caramel notes from the tin, and a heavenly "I can't wait to have another bowl of this" taste while smoking. No tongue bite. the rum came flowing in, gentle and sweet, though with a little tongue nip when I forget to sip it, so kiss it, friends. Now, I'm a manly man so I don't usually smoke the aro stuff. I don't have time for it, what with wrestling alligators and the fight club and I don't know what all, but I do like this stuff (even though it did nip my wittle tongue). atics - they usually tend toward the goopy side, have a chemical taste and can easily bite, but this is a decent one. No bite if I smoke at a reasonable pace, and good flavor - mostly Burley with a touch of Rum to my taste buds. If you like aromatics, give this one a try (and maybe even if you just like Burleys). The pleasant whiff on opening the tin was nice, but the smoke-experience improves after airing the tobacco. Probably uses some additives to keep it moist longer, but that results in a not to pleasant taste and even feels a bit bitter, acrid.

Very wet out of the jar, so wet, I could not keep lit and ended up only smoking for maybe 5 min, flavor was good but mostly hot sweet air, maybe would be better if it stayed lit?

I bought this tin because I love the east India trading co. officers club and that one is hard to get. The smell from the tin is wonderful and the taste is not bad either it is a good all day tobacco or an after dinner treat.

This is a mild and tasty tobacco. It goes well with a glass of Captain Morgains Spiced Rum. The room note is very pleasant and it does not bite. A great find and I highly recommend it.
