crumble it into a fat bowled pipe. It's raisony. It's classic Virgina but the Perique gives it that little je ne sais pas element that is understated, yet at the same time pronounced. It's quite subtle but I rather like that. The virginias dominate but the Perique is beautifully balanced as an afterburner. Open a good book. Pour a little fine Scotch and think about life and that will put you in the perfect mindset for this sublime little blend . Read Less

Taste is medium and very consistent, with notes of sweet dark ripe plums, spice, tart and tangy citrus, floral, peaty hay, wood, fermented vegetation, bready, lemon grass, savory, slightly spicy, slightly acidic, a slightly sour sugared raisin background note, and a peppery retro. I wholeheartedly agree, with his assessment & review on this blend, that this vaper keeps changing flavors every time I smoke it, it never taste consistent with the flavors it has,.. I’m tasting something new every time & have smoked this lovely tobaccos, out of my Serjacopos,Castellos, My Dunhill county & my Radice underwood & my Radice rind pipe- I’m still puzzled by the changing flavors even using several different pipes. ome very bitey blends. This tobacco does not bite at all, no matter how hard you puff it, and stays lit with no effort. The flavor is not as complex as most other similar blends out there, but it is by no means bad. Sometimes simple is good, and here it is a strong point in my opinion. If you want a simple vir/per to smoke all day with no fuss no muss, this is it folks. Read Less

They just sit in the corner like two very quiet dinner guests whose personalities gel together harmoniously, but probably only because they have no personality to speak of. They don't offend, but they don't entertain or contribute to the conversation either. Above all what we have here is a very mild, muted blend that doesn't do much for the palate. Age doesn't help either; it only makes the blend even more mellowed out and muted and boring. Granted, I've preferred English/Balkan blends for years now, but I do still appreciate a good VaPer, VaBur, or straight Virginia. This one just isn't it. Read Less

great experience, as the tingly aspect of the red came on slowly mid smoke. I like that red bite, but sometimes it can come on too strong too early - that didn't happen here. Wonderful blending on this one. Read Less

is blend out of a dedicated Peterson Deluxe 12.5. My only complaint is the tin note. On opening, there is a strong smell of vinegar that I don’t care for. Setting the tobacco out to dry for around 20 minutes solves the problem, however that vinegar note is keeping this from 5 stars. Aside from that, this is an outstanding smoke and will remain in my rotation. Read Less
