Of more than 27 maple base type blends I have just tried, this is one of the absolute finest from the sustained and developing flavor to the nice burning qualities. Consistently pleasant, mellow, w/ depth, good ash, clean aftertaste too.

Another overhyped aromatic, surprise surprise. I need either aromatic flavor or tobacco flavor. I don’t even need both, just one! And this blend provides neither.

Excellent maple/rum aroma, but burley tobacco just taste like cigarettes to me and this is what I taste almost immediately. I can however smoke this, but it would be so much better if it lost the burley.

I'm an aromatic fan, but not the syrupy stuff. This was right down the middle of the road, full of subtle flavor and remarkable quality. The ribbon cut is pristeen and the vanilla/maple flavor is just right. This my favorite pipe tobacco, bar NONE.

ely there and when coupled with the room note, this is a really pleasant aromatic.
If it starts to burn too hot you will get the very noticeable bite and harsher burley taste I've seen mentioned in some of the reviews.
All in all, it's not the best aromatic I've ever had, but it's definitely a good one. Read Less

hint of maple but the overall flavor is still a light and uninvolved tobacco, the maple and rum topping is present but not dominant. I wouldn't call it one of my favorite aromatic smokes but might pick it up again once I get another taste for maple tobacco. Then again, there's always other maple flavors to try and see if they stand out a bit more.
If you give it a little time to dry Maple Street is a solid Aromatic with a mild tobacco flavor matched with hints of sweet maple. Decent for mixing with stronger blends, like rubbed Irish Flake, to add a hint of Canadian sweetness. Read Less

This is one of the best aromatics around. I’ve dedicated a Neerup church warden for this. I only smoke it as a treat and treats me well! I’ll smoke it year round and have put some in my cellar. This is really, really good!!

I also received this as a free sample, and was glad I did! Though I'm not as fond of it as I am other Sutliff blends (Bacchanalia to name one), this is still a very mild, pleasant smoke that has a great taste and a mild room note.
