调味草中值得推荐的款式

在中国大部分斗客不怎么抽调味草，或者只有入门的时候抽一阵。我觉得这是种偏见，据我所知在西方抽调味草的人更多。可能这和东方崇尚纯天然物品的理念有关。我个人比较喜欢这款，香香甜甜的味道，室韵也很好，不容易遭到老婆的训斥:)，而且性价比高，值得推荐

Sweet cherry room note, but not so much in the area of flavor but still good nonetheless. No
bite and burns fairly evenly with few relights. I would think this would cellar well. Great price and service as always.

This is my go-to if I want a cherry tobacco. It has a good flavor with a slightly tart hit. Room note is very pleasant. Sweet cherry that won't offend anybody. My wife enjoys the scent of it as do the neighbors.

This tobacco was a bit too much for me. The cherry taste was so intense it seemed unnatural and tasted of chemicals in my opinion. I am a fan of Mac Baren tobaccos but I will not pick this one up again.

This smells cherry, and does taste slightly cherry, but I can't get around the tongue bite. I've had several other cherry blends that are just far better.

ongue bite! In spite of Mac Baren's reputation for making rather bitey blends, this one absolutely refuses to bite even when puffed quite vigorously, though I'd still suggest smoking it slow and easy to get the most enjoyment out of the flavor of the blend.
As far as the flavor goes, I'm so nostalgic for Middleton Cherry (on account of it being the first pipe tobacco I ever smoked) that I probably can't be objective here, but I'd describe it as a fairly equal mix of well aged Virginia and earthy Burley tobacco flavors with just a little hint of a very natural and realistic cherry flavor in the background without the sweetness. This is not your typical wet and goopy aromatic smothered in toppings, the tobacco is nicely dry right out of the tin and it's so lightly topped that I'd consider it more of a Virgina/Burley blend with just a dash of extra flavor than a traditional aromatic. The cherry flavor that has been added is much like that of a real cherry straight off the tree in your grandmother's backyard, except it isn't sweet and is only ever so slightly tart, and compliments the excellent quality tobacco perfectly I think. Much like the cherry topping, the Vitamin N in this blend is noticable but in no way overwhelming. It's got more than most aromatics but isn't going to knock your socks off so I'd say it's a medium. All in all I couldn't recommend a finer blend for anyone looking for a Middleton Cherry replacement, because Mac Baren 7 Seas Red tastes just like it (albeit with much better quality tobacco and no bite) and I think those who typically smoke non-aromatics will find a lot to like here as well. No goopy pipes or sticky fingers, just a really good Virginia/Burley blend with a touch of unsweetened cherry flavor. It's a winner in my book! Read Less

A very pleasant sweet cherry aromatic that is just nice for a day when I fancy an aromatic instead of a English Style. Well balanced with good consistancy and moisture. Quality is spot on.

I was hoping for a replacement for Cults BRM this isn't it. Its a real smooth smoke with a hint of fruits and a touch of cherry. I'd buy it again but not for the cherries.

wonderful pouch nose and room note smokes nice without lots of bite. Does leave an aftertaste and ghosts will appear in your briar, not a major problem if ya have a designate taster pipe

The taste is cherry and it's very bitter comparing to any other tobacco that I've tried so far. It has average strength. Room note is not strong, which is fine.

eaves rather quickly and you end up with a pretty average bowl. About halfway through the tin, I added a humidifier and it has made a big difference. The flavor lasts longer and is more prominent. thinner / finer than what photo shows. The tobacco arrived moist, light and fluffy and very easy to pack. The flavor is one of predominantly cherry and Vanilla with hints of Brandy and Dark Chocolate. The tobacco lights up and burns well to a fine gray ash. The smoke is very thick/billowy which I like. This tobacco is mild (average) but not overly mild to the point of no taste. I feel the Sutliff Vanilla Custard or the McClelland Three Cherries blend is a superior smoke although the McClelland bulk is more expensive. Read Less
