Delicious, with a room note that passes the test of everyone who smells it. I disagree with the heavy chocolate topping tasting note, it is very balanced and mild. Far surpassed my expectations and will become a regular smoke. If this blend could benefit from anything it may be a finer cut, but it smokes admirably regardless....Read More

Serendipitous surprise

I recently received a shipment. I ordered from smoking pipes, and when it arrived, I was disappointed to find that they had mistakenly shipped someone else’s order; single ounce packages of three tobacco’s. I had never tasted before. One of them was seven seas regular. I found them to let them know about the mistake. They apologize profusely and said they would ship out my original orders the same day. I said if they would provide a prepaid label, I would happily return what was sent to me an error. They told me to keep them and again apologize for the mistake. I won’t talk about the other two tobaccos but when I lit up a bowl of seven seas regular, I found to my delight that it was one of the finest Cavendish plans I had ever smoked. This is awesome tobacco. Tin & Room note are fantastic. Taste is great with wonderful fruit flavor. A great slow all day smoke reminds me of old time aeromatic tobacco. Glad I have a large bowl pipe for an all day smoke. No bite!! you will like it!

There's nothing wrong with this bland at all, it's balanced, has good flavor and aroma, but there's also nothing that really stands out or excites me. However this is something you could just puff away on all day.

Cherry aromatic blech

This would be a great tobacco for someone who likes cherry aromatics like 1Q or GH American Delite, but it definitely does not work for my tastes. Five minutes into the first bowl I knew it was not for me, and my wife hated the smell. The PG is pretty strongly applied here and really irritates my throat even though I'm not inhaling. Great as a mixer too

I mainly smoke natural/English. However I use this to mix with LC V and B and that makes a reasonable, very easy on the palate, semi-aromatic with some kick. I've never actually smoked MB 7seas straight. Best thing abt this is mildness, bite free sweetness and aroma without ghosting my pipes for use with English style blends (I do water it down with LC strong va/burley 50/50 at least). My wife likes the room note of Royal better, which has less black cav and isn't as sweet but equally good, maybe better. Regular does have some detectable berry/cherry notes I'd rather not have but I can't fault it for that. Non-goopy, non-cloying, great for a beginner or a mindless smoke....Read More

A little more burley in this than other 7 Seas aromatics, and so it comes across with a deeper molasses/brown sugar sweetness more so than honey. Granted, the caramel was a topping, but burley goes better with it than a Virginia Cavendish. This is sweet, creamy and flavorful.
