Danish Estates: Stanwell Danish Star (156)

Product Number: 004-001-5678

From what I've gathered the Danish Stars was (is?) a series defined by larger shapes, and evidently hails back quite a ways, given the appearance in our archives of examples in long-discontinued shapes. This one is reminiscent of the "191", albeit with a much longer stem and lower-set bead-line. Originally designed by Poul Nielsen himself, the "191" is known to have been re-designed more than once during it's long history, so it wouldn't be surprising if the "156" was some manner of off-shoot.
