Danish Estates: Nording Smooth Freehand (17)

Product Number: 004-001-5698

While Erik Nording's name is best known for providing capacious, wild freehands and simple Danish classics at modest prices, he also still turns out a fair number of select, higher grade pipes as well. This stout-shanked, forward-stretched, and lushly flame-grained freehand bent Apple is one such briar. Though the profile is quite novel, it proves plenty easy and lightly balanced in hand, and, yes, it does have the birdseye to match that aforementioned flame-grain as well.
