Danish Estates: Ben Wade Reflection Freehand (014) (Replacement Stem)

Product Number: 004-001-6065

As soon as Herman Lane and Preben Holm got together in the early 1970s magic happened. The Ben Wade pipe was transformed from a kind of ugly Charatan second to a model of Danish Freehand design. And everybody loved it. Fast forward a few decades and a lot of these really special old pipes are still out there floating around, like this one, though in this case with a replacement stem. Obviously someone cherished this pipe enough to make sure that it'd stay serviceable for a pipe smoker, which to my mind is a very good sign of how this pipe will treat its next owner.
