Danish Estates: Soren Partially Rusticated Freehand with Plateau

Product Number: 004-001-5932

By the mid-seventies, Soren Refbjerg Rasmussen employed up to twelve carvers (it has been aptly observed by some that during this period there was much in carving and business commonality with the likes of Preben). Today Soren works alone, maintaining a small, high quality production. The carver has a personal preference for smaller pipes, and the overall body of his work tends to reflect this. Still, as you can see from this delightfully elongated freehand, Soren does create exceptions.
