Danish Estates: Celius Root Pawn Sandblasted Bent Pot (11)

Product Number: 004-001-5925

A classic freehand from Celius of Denmark. Celius pipes were extremely popular during the 1970s; however, his brand is not as well known in current collecting circles. Though his unique freehand style showed more restraint than that of most of his contemporaries, you can certainly see the progression of the Danish Freehand style of the 1970's towards the modern Danish style of today in the briar now before you. This particular (kinda) Dublin shape, features an exceptional sandblast revealing well defined ring and fan grain on the surfaces.
